Diehl Altair V4 volumetric water meter is a compact but highly capable measuring device designed to adapt to the most restrictive environments without compromising its performance. It features a rotary piston mechanism and is available in two material configurations, composite (polymer) and brass, to meet various installation requirements. Altair V4 is known for its dynamic sensitivity reaching up to R=800 and the ability to measure very low starting flows from Qs=0.4 l/h. This water meter comes in sizes from DN15 to DN40, with a practical length for easy installation ranging from L=110 mm to 190 mm. It is well-protected with an IP68 rating, allowing submersion.
The water meter is designed for accurate flow measurement even at very low flow rates, thanks to its high dynamic sensitivity. For enhanced functionality, it offers the option of upgrading with pulse outputs and radio modules, such as IZAR Pulse I and IZAR RC, to enable better management and remote monitoring of water consumption.
